Personal information
Name: WANG Liang (Male), Birth Year: 1988
E-mail:liangwang@tiangong.edu.cn;
Dr. Wang received his PhD degree fromDepartment of Materials Science and Metallurgy of Polytechnic University ofCataluña (Barcelona, Spain) and the Master degree fromMajor Textile Materials and Design of Donghua University (Shanghai, China). Since December of 2016, he has been working forTianjin Polytechnic University as an assistant professor inSchool of Textiles.
He is now teaching two courses for International students, i.e.Fibre Physics andNanotechnology Applications on Textile. In regarding to the scientific research, he mainly contributes to the following fields:
*Cellulose nanofibrils from plants and theapplications, eg. on textiles.
*Polymeric porous materials (aerogels, foams and porousfibrous membrane etc.) assembled from cellulose nanofibrils andtheir applications onadsorption,separation and filtration, especially dye/heavy metal ions removal, oil-waterseparation and air filtration.
*Textile products functionalmodification such as flame retardancy etc. and functionalindustrial textiles developing.
Now he is a member of China Textile EngineeringAcademic Society and China Chemistry Society. He contributes one book chapter in Royal Chemistry Society and more than 10 papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
